Pro Tip

When fitting joints, cut a little undersize and use the chisel to fine-tune the fit — small, careful paring wins over heavy hacking.
For glue removal in joints, hold the chisel nearly horizontal and gently scrape — the 12 mm width gives good control in grooves.
