Tork Craft TCWE2406HS High Speed Wire End Brush for Die Grinders - Maximum 20000 RPM

At a Glance: High speed wire end brush for die grinders. Maximum permissible speed: 20000 RPM. Compact 24mm brush with a 6mm shaft for targeted rust removal, flaking paint removal and surface cleaning.

FOR DIE GRINDERS. MAXIMUM SPEED: 20000 RPM. Use a compatible die grinder with the correct 6mm collet. Ensure the operating speed stays within this limit, including when the brush is running freely before contacting the workpiece.

Tackle focused cleaning and surface preparation with the Tork Craft TCWE2406HS High Speed Wire End Brush. Designed for use with a compatible die grinder, this shaft-mounted accessory combines a compact 24mm brush width with a 6mm shaft for secure collet mounting. The rotating wire bristles help loosen surface rust, flaking paint, dirt and deposits from suitable workpieces, making the brush useful for maintenance, restoration and preparation before refinishing. Its end brush shape directs the cleaning action into a relatively small area, helping you work around edges, details and accessible recesses. Use controlled movement and light pressure to let the wire tips perform the cleaning. The maximum permissible speed is 20000 RPM and must never be exceeded.

High speed end brushing for focused cleaning

An end brush positions its wire bristles at the end of a shaft-mounted holder, concentrating the brushing action into a compact working area. This makes it useful for targeted cleaning on smaller components and in accessible areas where a wider brush may be difficult to position.

The TCWE2406HS is the high speed version intended for compatible die grinders. Its 20000 RPM maximum speed defines the upper operating limit. Select a working speed appropriate for the surface and task, and maintain secure shaft mounting throughout use.

  • Focused working area: The compact brush helps you direct the cleaning action onto smaller sections.
  • Useful access: The end brush shape assists with cleaning around details and accessible recesses.
  • Practical surface preparation: Removes loose contamination before further cleaning or refinishing.

Application

  • Removing surface rust from suitable metal components.
  • Removing loose and flaking paint before refinishing.
  • Cleaning dirt and surface deposits from brackets, fittings and other small components.
  • Targeted cleaning around edges, details and accessible recesses.
  • General maintenance and restoration tasks where wire brushing is appropriate.

Extra Information

  • Check the grinder speed: Confirm the machine&s speed range before fitting the brush. A fixed-speed die grinder rated above 20000 RPM is unsuitable for this accessory.
  • Free-running speed matters: The brush must remain within its speed limit before it touches the workpiece and when it is lifted away from the surface.
  • Secure shaft mounting: Follow the grinder manufacturer&s collet tightening, shaft insertion and projection instructions.
  • Use light pressure: Let the wire tips perform the cleaning. Excessive pressure can bend the bristles, increase wear and reduce control.
  • Surface appearance: Wire brushing can leave marks or change the surface texture. Test first on delicate, decorative or finished surfaces.
  • Inspect regularly: Replace the brush if the shaft is bent, the holder is damaged or the wire bundle is loose or excessively worn.

Pro Tips

  • Start with controlled speed: Where the grinder provides speed adjustment, begin at a lower suitable setting and assess the result. Keep every setting within the 20000 RPM limit.
  • Keep the brush moving: Use short, controlled passes to avoid concentrating the brushing action in one spot.
  • Clamp small components: Secure the workpiece so you can maintain proper control of the grinder.
  • Check clearance: Ensure there is enough room for the rotating brush and holder before entering a recess.
  • Inspect between passes: Stop periodically to check the surface and brush condition.
  • Finish the preparation: Remove loosened debris and follow the coating manufacturer&s preparation instructions before painting or refinishing.

How to Use

  • Confirm compatibility: Check that the die grinder accepts a 6mm shaft, permits wire brush use and can operate within the 20000 RPM maximum.
  • Isolate the grinder: Disconnect the power or air supply, or remove the battery as applicable, before fitting the accessory.
  • Inspect the brush: Check the shaft, holder and wire bristles for damage, looseness or excessive wear.
  • Fit securely: Insert the shaft into the correct 6mm collet and tighten according to the grinder&s instructions. Observe the specified shaft insertion and projection requirements.
  • Prepare the work area: Clamp loose workpieces, wear suitable protective equipment and keep bystanders clear.
  • Check operation: Reconnect the supply and briefly run the brush clear of the workpiece at a suitable speed within its rating. Stop immediately if it vibrates excessively or runs incorrectly.
  • Begin brushing: Bring the rotating wire tips gently into contact with the surface. Use light pressure and controlled movement.
  • Monitor progress: Work in short passes and inspect the result regularly. Keep the speed at or below 20000 RPM throughout operation.
  • Stop safely: Switch off and wait until the brush stops completely before setting the grinder down.
  • Remove and store: Isolate the grinder before removing the brush. Clear away debris and store the accessory in a dry place.
